Background & Qualifications:
 
I have sold Real Estate for the last 14 years. I am currently a Real Estate Broker with Untied Country Bassett Realty, LLC. As a Broker/Manager I supervise the majority of the business handled by our agents. I also handle employee and contractor issues in the office. I must verify every dollar is accounted for and paid out to the proper person or company, before the sale can be completed.
 
In 2004, I was elected President of the Pulaski County Board of REALTORS® by my peers in the Real Estate Profession.  I also served on the Missouri Association of REALTORS®, as State Director 2004 - 2006, making decisions that affect 24,000+ REALTORS® in the state of Missouri and work for rights of buyers and sellers in the state of Missouri.  As President and Vice President of the Pulaski County Board of REALTORS®, one of the things I had to do, was oversee the budgeting process.
I have served on the Waynesville/St Robert Lions Club as well as the Dixon Lions Club.  In both clubs I was elected to serve as Lion President.
 
I have served Pulaski County as an EMT and Paramedic from 1991 until 1998 where I worked for Pulaski County and Dixon Ambulance Districts.
 
Why am I seeking this office?
 
I truly enjoy working with the Public. I am raising my family here, and I want to help provide a great place for everyone who decides to raise their family here, retirees or anyone else who chooses to make Pulaski County their home. The citizens of Pulaski County deserve the highest degree of respect and service that I will provide. I feel that the taxpayers are the people that will be paying my salary and who I will be answering to.
 
What do I see as the major issues involving this office?
 
Here are some of the things that The County Clerk are responsible for:
·The County Clerk is the election authority for the county.
·Responsible for conducting all public elections.
·Responsible for voter registration activities in the county.
·Responsible for keeping accurate records of the orders, rules, and proceedings of the County Commission.
·Responsible for processing payroll and administering certain benefits for county employees.
The County Clerk has many different responsibilities, and must be able to manage the employees of The County Clerks office. As a Real Estate Broker, I am very accustomed to handling many responsibilities and managing employees and agents.
 
What are my major goals if elected?
 
If you are a properly registered voter, I will do my best to make sure you can fulfill your right to vote and make certain your vote is counted. I will have an open door policy if you ever have questions or problems. When elected I will give up my Real Estate Career to be your full time County Clerk.
